In the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, Fiduciary Trust lost 86 of our own employees, as one employee from our parent company Franklin Templeton, and other business partners who were in our offices in the South Tower of the World Trade Center that day. The following narrative outlines our 9-11 experience through a number of lenses, including: Communication with employees, families, clients, and others; Disaster Recovery, which describes the technology and office space challenges that had to be overcome in the immediate aftermath of 9-11 and in the months that followed; company Support made available to employees and families of the victims; Remembrance, which highlights memorial activities to recognize, honor and celebrate the lives of those lost; and Media Profiles, which includes a sampling of company profiles on Fiduciary Trust's and Franklin Templeton's 9-11 experiences. |
