Michael Diehl
1952-2001
Michael was a quiet, conservative man,who enjoyed the little
things in life. Sunday was his favorite day of the week. That's
when he would transform from "banker" into "master
chef." Though he could not cook in the kitchen, he was
an excellent grillmaster. He would park himself in a lawn
chair in front of the barbecue with a glass of wine, preparing
mouth-watering food for his family and friends. Even in winter,
he would shovel a path to the grill, don a parka, and sit
there like he was on top of the world.
He was a devoted father to his two children, Jason, 20, and
Jeannette, 15. He would beam from ear to ear as he listened
to Jeannette perform at her piano recital or watched Jason
make a great save at a goalie net.
Most of all, he was a loving, devoted husband-the best friend
I ever had.

Thank you for all the years of friendship. Thank
you for your patience throughout the many years we worked
together. You were an inspiration to me in the way you separated
your job from your family life, letting neither one affect
the other. You will be sorely missed
Your friend and business "compatriot."
