      Babita Guman

Babita Guman was an employee with Fiduciary Trust International for two years and seven months; she was part of the IT Department. Babita graduated from Long Island University with a bachelor's in science. Her dream was to teach, and she had many plans for herself and her family.

She has a loving husband, John, whom she has been with for over 16 years, and of that 16, they were married for 10 years. Babita has two precious little girls, Christina, age 7, and Malissa, age 6. Babita's spirit will always live through her daughters, because she raised them to be exactly like her.

Her husband will never forget the face he fell in love with some 16 years ago. Her daughters will never forget their mother who loved them with all her heart. Her mother will never forget the intelligent daughter she raised. Her sisters will never forget her always being there for them. The friends and entire family of Babita will never forget her, for she was a soft, gentle, warm-hearted intellectual who was always willing to help others, which she did this just by her sweet smile.

This is a part of life that everyone experiences. All it does is make you closer to the ones you love and cherish each moment spent with them, because it may be your last, as it was for Babita.

I had the honor and pleasure to work with Babita, first when I hired her as as an FTCI service desk analyst. I got to knew her as a hard worker, eager to learn and ready to help and share her knowledge with her co-workers. I got to understand her strong family orientation, especially her love and devotion to her two daughters, who often accompanied her to the office during the holiday season.

The second time I had the pleasure to work with Babita was in the Information Security Department. We spent many hours together and got to know each other very well. Babita was easy to get along with. I will treasure our long conversations and all the laughs we shared during the difficult moments we faced together at the office.

God Bless you, Babita. You are in our prayers. You will always have a special place in our hearts and minds.
