      Louis Inghilterra

Louis Steven Inghilterra was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Queens by his mother and older sister. When Louis was 12 years-old and his sister 14, his father died of cancer. His father, Louis V. Inghilterra, was also just 45 years-old. The same age as Louis today.

Louis had a true love of music and books. He and his buddies started a rock 'n roll band in their early teens and attempted to be real-live "rockers." After many long endless nightclubs and weddings the boys finished college and turned to a career in business.

As an adult Louis kept up with his guitar playing, his buddies and his books. We have about 8 guitars in the house now (down from 15 just three years ago) and boxes upon boxes of books Louis would buy from library sales and old book stores. Louis and our son, Louis Sam (Sam, for short and for less confusion in the house), spent so much of their time together playing guitar, listening to music and reading. And for a 21/2 year old, Sam, never tired of the hours they spent listening to music and reading books.

Louis and I were married in 1996 and had our son, Louis Sam Inghilterra, in March of 1999. I could go on forever on how wonderful he was as my husband and friend and most importantly as a father to Sam.

Louis has given us incredible memories that we will cherish and pass on to Sam.

Sam has many of his father's traits. He loves music and books and he organizes his blocks and leggos by color and size. Precision and accuracy is all part of Sam's play. Something he most definitely inherited from his father. (Some of you may have recognized with Louis.)

From the bottom of my heart I thank you all for your love and kindness. Please know that I would like to send my sincerest thoughts and prayers to all of you. The loss of loved ones is so inconceivable.

-Thank you, Diane Inghilterra

He was a teacher. When his student showed a spark, he taught more fervently. He was a model of success and dedication to his employees, and he would always share the formula. He was a family man, a proud father and husband. It was clear this was his focus. He was interested in others, always eager to listen to details of your life.

He wore many hats in this world, and when we were able to see the teacher, the family man, the model of success, the concerned man show us his different sides, he showed us he would be our friend.
