A Mothers' Shining Star
In Loving Memory of Goumatie Thackurdeen, who was born into
life May 23, 1966, and born into eternal life September 11,
2001
Goumi, lovingly known to us as Girly, was truly a unique
gem who enjoyed the finer things in life. An avid traveler,
she collected fine wines, exotic teas and rare antiques. She
spared no cost when entertaining her family and friends. She
treasured the moments planning surprises for her nieces and
nephews. Her love, kindness, strength and courage leave an
indelible mark on us all. She was truly an amazing woman.
Her warmth, charm and wit brought joy and laughter to those
who were graced by her presence. She will shine in our hearts
and glisten in our thoughts forever. We plan to live our lives
to reflect the beauty of hers. May God keep you safe in his
arms, until we meet again.
We love you always!
God's Jewels
God looked upon his crown,
And found an empty space.
He then looked down upon the Earth
And saw your beautiful face.
He put his arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
God's crown must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

Words of Sympathy
As far as my religion goes,
Your soul is like a butterfly.
You must not think in terms of missing
him too much in the next few days,
so that his soul will not linger
in between Heaven and Earth.
Let him go to where he will find
his peace, and he will be back to guide
you as a guardian angel after his trip.

As a project manager, Goumi would always push
as far as she could. She was a great negotiator, even when
the negotiations were between two Fiduciary employees. Those
who will remember her most are probably the ones who participated
in one of her negotiations.
She worked hard and was able to get much accomplished.
Even when projects became intense and deadlines loomed, she
had the time to share a laugh with us. Goumi will be missed
by us all.
