His family and friends will always remember him smiling, with his open, sincere smile, which included all of his face. Ed had no tattoos, but he did own a Harley.

Ed tackled his research responsibilities with enthusiasm and commitment, often spending weekends at the office to increase his health care knowledge. Consistently upbeat, thoughtful and confident, Ed had a gentle personality and a generous smile that was infectious. Colleagues recall after-hours conversations that ranged from a tutorial on medical procedures to his love of motorcycles and running. He took the time to teach others. He relished the many friendships that were created in the few months he worked at Fiduciary.
